Our approach at TIMELABS ™ utilizes very slow lifting speed, which improves the recruitment of muscle fibers, enhancing muscular loading and improving workout effectiveness.

Ryan Ramnarine, a certified personal trainer and dedicated master of the SuperSlow® exercise method created by Arthur Jones and Ken Hutchins, opened TimeLabs™ in 2001. Located in New York’s financial district, TimeLabs™ was billed as the City’s first Urban Country Club and attracted a large number of time-pressed business men and women who quickly realized that they could efficiently and effectively build muscle mass, reduce body fat and achieve their body’s optimal level of performance with a weekly 30-minute intense TimeLabs™ workout. When the building that housed TimeLabs™ was sold, Ryan moved the exercise laboratory to its current location in Hell’s Kitchen.
