The Yoga and Meditation Center of Montclair, founded in 1976 by Susan Morton, is the oldest school of yoga in northern New Jersey. Devoted to the study of classical hatha yoga and meditation, the Center has a fully equipped studio that looks onto a meditation garden. The garden is a serene woodland retreat, bordered by a natural stream, that enhances the experience of yoga and meditation.
We Offer several levels of hatha yoga, meditation classes, and specialized workshops. Both group classes and individual instruction available. Therapeutics include Lumbar Stabilization and Strengthening, Yamuna Body Rolling, and Yoga Therapy.
