Q: How much does a membership cost?
A: Peak Fitness offers various types of memberships, customized to meet the needs of the individual. Our membership rates vary depending on the type of membership you choose. See our MEMBERSHIP page to inquire about specific prices.
Q: Do I have to sign a contract?
A: Peak fitness does offer contract-free memberships. See our MEMBERSHIP page to inquire about contract-free memberships or visit a Peak Fitness near you.
Q: What types of memberships do you offer?
A: Peak Fitness offers three basic types of membership: Maintenance Pass, Fit Pass & Metro Pass. See our TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP page to learn more about what each pass offers.
Q: What types of payment options are available?
A: You may choose to pay for your entire membership at the time of joining, which is the least expensive option, or you may choose to pay monthly installments.
Q: Do you offer temporary memberships?
A: Peak Fitness does offer various temporary memberships to meet the needs of the individual. See our MEMBERSHIP page to inquire about temporary memberships or visit a Peak Fitness near you.

CHILD WATCH
Q: Is child watch included with membership?
A: All memberships, except the Maintenance Pass, include FREE child watch. This does not include KidZone.
Q: Do you offer child watch at all locations?
A: All Peak Fitness clubs offer child care, except our Rock Hill location. For a list of other club amenities check our LOCATIONS page and click on the fitness facility of your choice.
Q: What are the age requirements for child watch?
A: Your child must be between 8 weeks and 12 years of age.

PERSONAL TRAINING
Q: Is personal training included with my membership?
A: Your first training session is complimentary when signing up for a Fit or Metro Pass. After your first session, you may choose to continue with a personal trainer for an additional fee.
Q: How can I add personal training to my membership?
A: Personal Training can not be added to your Peak Fitness membership. All personal training provided inside our clubs is through a third party company. All members must sign a separate agreement in order to receive personal training services.
Q: How do I cancel my personal training?
A: Peak Fitness does not reserve the right to sign, alter or cancel any personal training agreements. Because personal training is provided through a third party company, all billing and cancellations must be done through the company you singed an agreement with.
Q: How do I schedule or cancel an appointment with a trainer?
A: To schedule an appointment, please see a personal trainer at your local Peak Fitness location. To cancel an appointment, please contact your trainer directly or the Peak Fitness location you are training at so they may deliver the message.

MEMBER ACCOUNTS
Q: How do I cancel my membership?
A: ABC Financial, our billing company, handles all cancellations. They will inform you of any information they need in order to cancel your membership. For 3-Day cancellations, please see the instructions on your membership agreement.
Q: How do I freeze my membership?
A: ABC Financial, our billing company, will assist you with all membership freezes. You may freeze your membership at any time for up to 6 months in a calendar year.
Q: How do I upgrade to a Metro Pass, add tanning, etc.?
A: You can upgrade or add additional services to your membership at any Peak Fitness location. Please a sales consultant for assistance.
Q: How do I update my billing information?
A: ABC Financial, our billing company, will assist you with updating your billing information and can answer any billing questions you may have.
Q: How do I check to see when my membership expires?
A: You can access this information upon check-in at any Peak Fitness location or through ABC Financial. This information is also provided on your membership agreement.
Q: How do I add a family member or secondary member to my membership?
A: You can add a family member to your membership at any Peak Fitness location. A serperate membership agreement must be signed for the additional family member at the time of purchase. See a Peak Fitness sales consultant for assistance.
FITNESS & HEALTH
Q: How often should I exercise?
A: Beginners should start by working out 3 times a week. After 6 weeks it is safe to increase the intensity of your workout program.
Q: What is cross-training?
A: Cross training is the practice of combining different methods of training into your workout program. Instead of running everyday, cross training allows you to vary your daily activities. Cross training may help you avoid injuries by lessening the continued stress on certain joints and muscles.
Q: How long will it take me to see results?
A: You should begin to feel the results of working out almost immediately. Overall increase in strength and loss of weight take an average of 4 to 6 weeks to achieve.
Q: When is the best time to stretch?
A: It is best to stretch at the end of your workout when your muscles are warm. If you feel that you need to stretch before working out, do some light cardio to warm up before stretching.
Q: How much water should I drink?
A: Everyone should drink at least 8 8oz glasses of water per day. People who are active should drink more water to replenish the fluids lost during their workout.
